Kanye West is eager to give back this holiday season.

According to Chicago Alderman Stephanie Coleman, Ye bought almost all of the 4,000 toys that were to be donated at a Sunday toy drive in Englewood, a neighborhood in south Chicago, ABC7 reports.

“I am so proud that Kanye is responding, once again, to our request to help the children of Englewood and beyond. He is no stranger to our community. His presence has always been felt in our neighborhoods and he loves to visit, but this Christmas he truly was our modern day Santa, ”Coleman told the outlet.

Others also donated toys, including local business owners, community leaders and residents. Families in attendance will also receive food and can play games and win prizes while collecting their toys.

You have a penchant for philanthropy. At the end of November, he met with the CEO of LA Mission and other charities to discuss the homeless issue in Los Angeles. Its aim was to partner with groups in the city to continuously provide food to homeless people and to use its businesses as a means of providing education, jobs and housing. The week before, around Thanksgiving, he had already kept his promises by donating 1,000 meals to LA Mission.
