game people announced its first series of quarterly educational webinars targeting industry marketing and public relations professionals. The first session will take place on April 21 from 1 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET; the session will begin with a keynote speaker (TBA) followed by breakout sessions on topics requested by attendees. Topics were examined from an agency and brand perspective. The session will end with networking in the virtual POP Pub.

After its success within the community of inventors, POP Founder Mary Couzin sought a way to bring the same level of insight and education to industry marketing executives and, along with Michele Litzky (LPR), asked other agency and brand representatives to form a committee that could identify speakers of interest to the group as well as topics that could be important conversation starters.

After a survey of marketing and public relations professionals on the need to organize regular events where they could learn, share and network, the results were unanimous! So save the date – April 21 – for the People of Play webinar launch event!
