Vanessa Hudgens can apparently see dead people.

In a recent appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Showthe actress opened up about her sixth sense, revealing she’s had “many” experiences with ghosts and spirits throughout her life.

“I remember I was getting ready for school when I was 8, and there was, like – you know these ducks that, like, are like the duck thing you shoot? Is it a toy? she says. “There was one on the dining room table and I started walking and it just started following me.”

She continued, “I kind of shut it down for a while because it’s scary. The unknown is scary. But recently, I was like, ‘No, it’s a gift and something I have the ability to do, so I’ll look into it.’ »

Hudgens then talked about her “spirit box,” a tool she says helps her “scan radio frequencies really quickly.” There’s “something about the electricity she creates that allows spirits to speak through her,” she explained.

This isn’t the first time Hudgens has opened up about his experiences with the paranormal.

In 2011, during the filming of his film Voyage 2: The Mysterious Island in North Carolina, the actress told People that she was visited by a supernatural presence.

“North Wilmington is one of the oldest and most haunted places in North America,” she said, explaining that she heard footsteps while staying in an old house there.

“I chased my ghost for about 10 minutes, then it got too weird, and I just walked away,” Hudgens added. “I feel like she may have lost a husband in the war and she’s been waiting for her man to come back to her. He was definitely a female spirit. I could tell.”
