Iconic brand Hamleys appear to have left Leicester as toy store in Highcross Shopping Center appears to have closed permanently.
All stock has been removed from the unit and the Hamleys sign which once hung above the door to the ground floor store is also gone.
Also, Hamleys is no longer listed as a shop on the Highcross site.

Famous toy retailer Hamleys launched the 1,800 square foot Leicester store in June 2021, with the promise of transporting customers into a world of theater and entertainment.

It stocked a wide range of top brands including Lego, Playmobil, Barbie and LOL Surprise dolls, as well as the iconic Hamleys bears.
Also among the selection were water toys, remote control vehicles, puzzles and board games.
Founded in 1760, Hamleys describes itself as the oldest and largest multinational toy company in the world.

He is known for his huge house on London’s Regent Street, which includes seven floors of elaborate demonstrations, events and exhibitions.
